Marmalade create winners necklace for HSBC Ladies Golf Masters in Singapore

We were asked to create the winners Necklace for the HSBC Ladies Golf Masters tournament in Singapore 2010.

Beautifully handcrafted in 18 carat white and yellow gold this pendant is a glorious representation of Hibiscus syriacus, (sometimes referred to as The Rose of Sharon) the national flower of South Korea. The flower's name in Korean is mugunghwa (Hangul: 무궁화; Hanja: 無窮花). The flower's symbolic significance stems from the Korean word mugung, meaning "immortality".

With 5 delicate petals showcasing 0.87 carats of finest pink sapphires and 0.50 carats of red rubies, this pendant is indeed immortal.

The pendant is presented on a 41cm 18 carat white gold Omega style chain weighing approximately 3.7grams.
