The bespoke Journey

If you choose to design your ring with us, here is what that looks like.

Let's Meet

We talk through everything you have in mind, shapes, settings, stones, styles. You bring images if you have them. We bring twenty-two years experience of making beautiful  things.

Your Vision

Our design team produces a photorealistic 360° render of the ring. You see exactly what you are commissioning before a single stone is set.

Stone Selection

We show you diamond options across different qualities, sizes and shapes to suit the budget you are comfortable with. We explain the 4Cs clearly, without jargon.

Design Approval

You try the ring on digitally with our virtual try-on, and we can present the final design as a hologram at the point of decision.

Expert Craftsmanship

Once you are happy, we ask for a 50% deposit. Your ring is typically ready in four to six weeks, though we can work to tighter timelines when needed.

The Finer Details

Throughout the making, we record  photographs of your actual piece moving through the workshop in order to present you a full pictorial journey on collection.

Collection Day

You collect your ring. We size it properly no charge once we have both the ring and the finger, so it is perfect from day one.

The Celebration

This is just the beginning.

Every engagement ring from Marmalade comes with our special celebration box. Inside are a few gifts from us, each one chosen to help along the way: your wedding bands, your wedding-day jewellery, something for the people standing beside you, and a first visit as a fiancée with a glass of champagne waiting.

The rest we'll leave for you to discover. Because at Marmalade, the engagement ring is not the end of the story. It is the first chapter.

Practical

We offer ten months interest-free credit on all engagement ring purchases. All rings come with a luxury certificate of sale for insurance purposes. Valuations are available from our in-house IRV-qualified valuer.

All our stock diamonds are natural. We will always tell you exactly what you are buying.

We are happy to discuss and make jewellery with lab-grown diamonds, and  we will give you our honest view. See our guide: Natural vs Lab-Grown Diamonds.

You do not need to know exactly what you want before you come in. You just need to come in.
