An unmarked high carat yellow gold brooch conversion piece can be worn as a brooch or a pendant. The pendant features an oval Opal measuring approximately 20.00 x14.00 x 3.40 mm and surrounded by a halo of old cut diamonds in a claw set design estimated 1.08ct. The halo is set with six cushion cut sapphires each measuring approximately 3.50 x 3.00mm with a removalable diamond and sapphire set bail. A modern 18ct yellow gold trace 18 inch chain hangs through the bail. The pendant measures approximately 28 x 21mm in total. Minor damage to back of opal but otherwise in good condition.
