Great selection of silver jewellery

It was great to find an independent jeweller where I could spend insurance money on some replacement jewellery. My fiance and I came to Marmalade after it was recommended by a friend and we were lucky enough to be greeted by Simon, who has continued to serve us for the last few months. I would be hard pressed to think of anybody who has ever given us better customer service, or a more enjoyable shopping experience in the run up to our wedding. Ours was a sensitive issue - we brought in my engagement ring in the hope of having it remodelled (but without having any idea how) after the original jewelry designer (who shall remain nameless - for now!) did not follow the brief or photograph my fiance provided, made a terrible job of the ring and over charged him for the pleasure. It was an emotional decision to finally decide to look into altering the ring and Simon handled the situation beautifully. He told us 'anything is possible' and ran through our many options with patience, knowledge and expertise. He offered advice with sensitivity and insight and we never felt pressured or patronized. We were so impressed and felt in such safe hands that we left the ring with him there and then. I could not be more thrilled with the end result. Simon has really rescued our relationship with my engagement ring and brought the joy back into the ring shopping process for us. We have since returned to have work done on two vintage rings I own as well as to purchase both of our wedding rings. These were again recommended to us, altered and embellished with clarity and insight and complete understanding of our personal taste. Simon has also always been more than happy to work within our budget. I am sure the finished rings will be gorgeous and I can't wait to see them! We live on the opposite side of London, but we will continue to return to Marmalade - why would we use another jeweler when at Marmalade 'anything is possible'?

I was relieved to receive some trustworthy advice on the pearls to buy for my daughter's 18th birthday. She now has a lovely set, which she and the family is very pleased with. We are familiar with Marmalade in Chiswick having shopped there over the years. This summer my wife bought a matching earring and necklace set that was just her style and quite striking in a subtle way, as Douglas Adams said, like getting hit over the head with a gold bar wrapped in a velvet bag. Anyway, after returning home, on the maiden outing my wife lost one of the earrings. I contacted Marmalade by email and learned that they had a matching set which I arranged to buy. But in addition I decided to purchase, sight unseen, a diamond pendant and, I will admit it, a silver Marmite lid. It took a couple of weeks to sort out the details of purchase and shipping involving several banks and I think David Cameron got involved at one point, but it all worked out in the end. My wife has her replacement earrings and a surprise for Christmas and her birthday, I have my Christmas shopping done in October (!) and I had a most delightful exchange of emails with the very competent and charming staff of Marmalade. I was impressed with the service and experience, as was my financial manager who made the arrangements, also my wife who got her replacement earrings and I'm sure so would have David Cameron if he had actually participated, which he didn't to his loss.
